David E. Mercado is an Army retired veteran and former Information Technology professional based in South Florida. A self-taught poet, he writes from a lifelong passion for storytelling and reflection. He enjoys traveling and playing golf, and is currently working on his first full-length collection of poems exploring lyric, narrative, and epic styles.
